Do you want to work closely with decision-making in a specialist role that combines financial analysis, risk assessment, and customer dialogue? At Vector Nordic, you will play a key role in a company that is at the forefront of industry development. Vector Nordic is now looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for its office in central Stockholm.
About Vector Nordic
Vector Nordic AB was founded in 2015 by the Swedish Travel Industry Association (SRF) to make it easier for travel agencies and organizers to meet the requirements for statutory travel guarantees. Through an exclusive partnership with Gar-Bo Försäkring AB, Vector offers a safe and efficient way to provide securities to authorities and entities such as IATA and SilverRail.
With around 400 customers in the Nordic and Baltic regions and close collaboration with industry players, Vector is today a well-established and stable partner with a strong commitment to quality, analysis, and customer satisfaction. Here, you work in a small, unpretentious organization where decision-making paths are short and where you have great freedom under responsibility.
About the role
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be an important part of Vector's operations. You will independently drive the entire customer process and work closely with the CEO on complex matters. You will conduct qualified credit and risk assessments that form the basis for decisions on guarantees and premiums.
Your tasks include, among others:
- Contacting customers and gathering relevant financial reports.
- Analyzing annual reports, income statements, balance sheets, etc.
- Credit assessment.
- Customer dialogues.
- Issuing travel guarantees/insurance.
- Ongoing follow-up during renewals.
The role is administratively heavy and requires precision, patience, and a strong analytical ability. It also involves contacts with authorities and ongoing customer dialogues where you clearly and trustworthily explain financial assessments and premium adjustments. Vector primarily works with Hubspot, Excel, and Fortnox.
Who are you?
To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you are a person who combines structure with curiosity. You have an eye for detail and high quality in everything you do, while also seeing the bigger picture and finding solutions even in complex situations.
You are self-driven and enjoy taking responsibility for your processes – but you also appreciate collaboration and open discussions in a small team. You work in a structured manner, are meticulous and quality-conscious, and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
You are confident in your professional role, unpretentious in your communication, and appreciate a culture characterized by trust, freedom, and community.
We believe you have:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Very good knowledge of analyzing financial reports, key figures, etc.
- Good proficiency in Excel and administrative work.
- Excellent language skills in Swedish and English; Finnish is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience from the insurance, finance, or travel industry is an advantage.
At Vector, you will receive
- A central role in a stable operation.
- Great freedom under responsibility and the opportunity for remote work.
- Competitive terms.
- The opportunity to develop in line with the company – both professionally and personally.
Location and employment
- Location: Stockholm.
- Employment type: Permanent, with a probationary period.
- Start date: As soon as possible, according to agreement.
Do you want to be part of a small, dedicated team with a significant industry impact? Submit your application today! Selection is ongoing.
